Upenn Tasting

This past Saturday, I had the pleasure of attending a tutored tasting led by esteemed beer writer Michael Jackson and Sam Caligione founder of DogFishHead. I was there along with a few fellow homebrewers in support of HomeSweetHome. The beer store, as we have come to call it is owned and operated by Geogre Hummel and his wife Nancy who have been into craft beer just about as long as any one else around. During the tasting of George's Fault, which is a 10.5% ale brewed with honey, and orange peel, at Nodding Head Brewpub in Philly but of George's Design, sam affectionately referred to George as "The Johnny Apple Seed of Brewing"; having sold first batch supplies to and consulted with many many brewers.
-Thanks again George
